I believe life is too short to harbour on regrets. I am on the platform of life and have to make the best of my character. When I make a blunder I laugh with the audience and move on. I laugh, live, learn, love, laugh, live, learn, love,  laugh, live, learn, love, laugh, live, learn, love  and laugh ... ...

I don’t mean to be hard on you
I know what’s best for you
You are a flower
A delicate hardy flower
A budding white rose
You are budding
You are a woman child
Standing tall and proud
Your chubby cheeks are gone
Now sculptured fine cheeks
Sprouting breasts and developing hips
Tout young breasts with perky nipples
Nipples standing magnificently like two beacons
Round swaggering innocent hips
Undulating in rhythm with your soul
Skin as soft and velvety as a ripe peach
Womb tight and taut
That will one day bear me grandchildren
But not now, you are grown
But you are a still a child
A beautiful innocent woman child
Men look at you
Men drool at you
Fresh young thing
Tender young and untouched

I don’t mean to be hard on you
I know what’s best for you
Your true essence is yet to grow
To unfold as bright rose petals
Sun-drenched with morning glory
The best is yet to come
Satisfaction is guaranteed
Concentrate on what’s important
On your studies and your future
You have the right
You have the power
You are the power
You are the motion
You are the potion
Don’t give yourself away
Men will always be there
Now they just want to play
Once they tire of you they will leave
Then jump on the next young one
Still innocent, sweet and naïve
Take care of yourself
Honour yourself
Affirm yourself
Because you are important
Because you come first

I don’t mean to be hard on you
I know what’s best for you
I want you to be someone
I want you to have the opportunity I never had
At sixteen I was wooed
At sweet sixteen I was lured
Intelligent I was
A bright future ahead of me I had
In love I thought I was
Deep pure love I thought was ours
The latest conquest I never thought I’d be
Marrying me I thought was guaranteed
Falling pregnant at sixteen
He left me and swore you weren’t his
My heart shattered, my life ruined, my youth shortened
My friends experimenting with make-up
Or drooling over pop idols
I was changing diapers or singing lullabies
With material things they can lure
With sweet nothings they can woe
Let your faith lead you
Let the petals unfold
Follow the sun light
Because you know what you need
Because you are strength and courage

I don’t mean to be hard on you
I know what’s best for you
But having been there
I know how hard it can be
Obstacles will stand in your way
As days unfold on your journey
Let God be your foundation
Let your faith be your pillars
Only He can soothe your pain
You are precious
You are the most important
You can create
You can also make a mistake
You deserve the best
You shouldn’t be bought
They can lead you and take you
They can make you and break you
But you hold the power
You are the joy the world is waiting for
You lack nothing
You connect the heavens to the earth
Your body is the temple
Your heart is the key
Because you are the flower
Because a flower is always a flower
